Lukac Fired a Whistleblower and Here’s Why He Did IT - In His Own Words

During his time on council in 2019, Joe Lukac fired a “whistleblower,” our former Borough Administrator, who uncovered corrupt practices at Borough Hall. His reasoning for terminating the Borough Administrator at that time was troubling and a form of retribution towards the employee, who found evidence against Joe’s appointed Borough Attorney. The Borough was sued due to Joe’s actions and statements as Councilman. It cost taxpayers a 6-figure settlement. Mayor Onderko objected to this unnecessary firing and filed a lawsuit against Joe’s motion to fire the administrator/whistleblower. You can listen to Joe’s political reasoning here:
